- How is AthleteVault different from a CRM plus Hudl?
- A CRM doesn’t know what a roster is, and Hudl doesn’t know what a deal is. AthleteVault connects the player record to discovery, representation, scouting reports, deals, and finance in one model — so a change to a player’s status propagates automatically instead of being re-entered in three systems.
- Can players we represent keep their platform profile?
- Yes. Players own their platform identity and we manage representation as a many-to-many relationship between the player and your tenant. You can add managed players who don’t yet have a platform account, and they can claim it later without losing history.
- How does verification work?
- We verify agencies, academies and clubs before their inquiries can reach a player. Verification checks legal entity, jurisdiction, and operating history. Verified status is visible to players — it materially improves inbound response rates.
- What roles does the permission model support?
- Super-admin, admin, agent, scout, technical analyst, coach, finance, and marketing. Each role has separate read and write permissions per module (profile, videos, representation, finance, deals, reports). You can override per player where needed.
- Can we run our own branded site for our roster?
- Yes. Every tenant gets a public landing page at a subdomain or custom domain, with tenant-controlled branding. Public roster, news and contact flow through that site; the authed app stays separate.
- How is pricing structured?
- Seat-based. Price is scoped to your team size and roster volume. Every feature — discovery, finance suite, custom domain, audit log — is included in the plan. Contact us for multi-office or federation deals.
- What does the audit log capture?
- Every write on a player record, every representation change, every deal and finance action. Rows are append-only and attributable to the acting staff member. Compliance and disputes become fact-checkable instead of argumentative.
